#weightloss : the benefits of the teas

Some benefits of green tea you already know. It is made from Camellia sinensis, helping you to lose weight and protecting against free radicals. Maybe you do not know that this same plant gives rise to other teas: red, yellow and white. All these have the same properties of green, but much more potent effects: they help on weight loss through thermogenesis (increasing body temperature), which speeds up the metabolism promoting fat burning. Other properties of this family of teas are:
Antioxidant: catechins prevent premature aging by acting against free radicals, the villains...
Digestive: activates the production of acids and digestive enzymes.
Energy: the presence of caffeine speeds up the metabolism.
Antibacterial: acts agains caries-causing bacteria.

Other herbs that are also potent on weight loss: hibiscus, senna, gorse, grass buggy,  artichoke and fennel jalapa. Ideally one should drink at least one liter of the beverage made from the leaves per day for at least three days a week. For those who prefer iced than hot tea,  it can be taken up to 24 hours after its preparation. After that time, the tea lose some of its properties.

Olive tea - detonating fat:
It is a great ally in fat burning, especially in the hip region. Some studies show that it is more potent than green teas and their derivatives; it also has four times more of selenium, copper, zinc, magnesium and potassium.
Teas of chamomile and fennel also help in weight loss, but in another way: by having a soothing action and helping digestion, they improve the absorption of nutrients and decrease the chances of overeating.

How to prepare teas:
At the time of preparing the beverage, one should prefer the leaf teas. This is because that for making the tea bags, leaves are crushed and fragmented, so that various nutrients are lost. On the other hand, leaf teas go through a manual process, then obtaining high quality teas. For maximum flavor and benefits of the tea, you also need more space and movement of water, making leaves to expand in the infusion, what does not occur with a tea bag.

To improve well your diet, intake of teas should be combined with a balanced diet. Furthermore, the meals must be fractionated into at least five times a day. The teas should never be ingested shortly before or after meals, but iduring the intervals between them, as they may decrease the absorption of vitamin C and iron if consumed along with the food. Another tip is to drink teas until the late afternoon, around 18h, because of caffeine: ingesting them at night can cause insomnia.
