#skincare : nourishing facial oils (even for oily skins!)
Beloved among famous as Eva Mendes, Marion Cotillard and Emma Stone, the oils are the bet of the time! For the face, vegetable oils, extracted from plants, flowers, fruits, seeds and roots are the must. Besides pleasant smell, they are rich in nutrients, vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants and can therefore be very useful in skin care. Unlike vegetable oils, mineral oils which are petroleum derivatives are more viscous or "heavy", can clog pores and promote the appearance of pimples.
The main function of the vegetable oils is to hydrate. After being absorbed by the skin, they help to restore the natural layer of water and fat that serves as skin protection. To apply properly, moisten hands using one or two drops of oil on the fingertips. Put a little in the center of the forehead, cheeks and neck. Then, slide the fingertips in gentle movements from the center to the periphery of the face. In the neck, the movement should be upwards.
Vegetable oils have more functions such as primers before makeup or anti-aging products, among others. This is due to their antioxidant power: when applied around the eyes, for example, they ensure hydration of the area and help to smooth fine lines. Sensitive skin, rosacea or the skin sensitized by external agents can also be benefited by the product; some oils even have anti-inflammatory and soothing actions. Others have antiseptic properties preventing the proliferation of fungi and bacteria. Some makeup artists often apply them before makeup, to achieve a bright and fresh look. Who wants to remove impurities or makeup can also use these products. Even who has oily or mixed skin is favored by vegetable oils, preferably those having a drier texture.
Here are my recommendations:
Huile Divine, Caudalie. Composed by oils of grapes, hibiscus, sesame and argan. Hydrates the skin slightly with floral fragrance and woody touches.
Moisturizing Oil 100% Pure Argan Oil, Josie Maran. Famous for its benefits on hair, argan oil can be used on the face too. It is rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids
Facial Oil, Tisserand. Three versions: Nourish, with oils of roses and argan for mature skin; Calm, with cinnamon and palmarosa, suitable for dry and sensitive skin; and Clarify, a combination of lemon and jojoba, suitable for the skin prone to oiliness.
Blue Orchid Oil, Clarins. Based on essential oil of orchid, it promises to balance the level of skin hydration.
Huile Prodigieuse Or, Nuxe. The famous oil brand also has a version with golden particles, which brighten skin instantly.
